Bilastine is a non-sedating antihistamine that works by blocking the effects of histamine, reducing symptoms such as sneezing, itching, and runny nose. Montelukast is a leukotriene receptor antagonist that helps to relieve symptoms of asthma and allergic rhinitis by blocking the action of leukotrienes, substances in the body that cause inflammation and constriction of airways. Indications: Bilagem-M Tablets are indicated for the symptomatic treatment of allergic rhinitis (including hay fever) and asthma in patients where both components are considered appropriate. Precautions and Warnings Do not exceed the recommended dosage or duration of treatment. Use caution in patients with liver or kidney impairment. Avoid driving or operating machinery until the individual response to the medication is known, as it may cause drowsiness.
