Product Description: Doxycycline 100mg Injection is a tetracycline-class broad-spectrum antibiotic effective against a wide range of Gram-positive and Gram-negative bacteria. It works by inhibiting bacterial protein synthesis, preventing the growth and spread of infection-causing bacteria. This injectable form of Doxycycline is particularly useful in cases where oral administration is not possible or rapid therapeutic action is required. Indications: Doxycycline 100mg Injection is indicated for the treatment of: Respiratory tract infections (pneumonia, bronchitis) Urinary tract infections (UTIs) Skin and soft tissue infections Sexually transmitted diseases (chlamydia, gonorrhea) Rickettsial infections (typhus, Rocky Mountain spotted fever) Anthrax, cholera, and plague Malaria prophylaxis (as per doctor’s direction) Dosage & Administration: Adults: Typical dose is 100mg every 12 hours on the first day, followed by 100mg once daily, administered intravenously (IV). Children: Dosage depends on body weight and clinical condition. Reconstitute the dry powder with Sterile Water for Injection (WFI) before administration. Infuse slowly as per medical advice. To be administered only under medical supervision. Duration of treatment depends on infection type and patient response. Storage: Store below 25°C in a cool, dry place.
